Mr. Joseph DiGiovanni
Chief, Security Engineering, HQ Cyberspace Capabilities Center (USAF)
Mr. DiGiovanni has 29 years Information Technology experience at public and private sector organizations, with an emphasis on systems engineering, cyber security, enterprise architectures, network operations, systems administration, and configuration management. For the past five years Mr. DiGiovanni has been getting involved in data science and AI from both academic and work perspectives. This includes initiating the self-protecting data concept and three research efforts. His undergraduate degree is in Electrical Engineering (University of Lowell, Massachusetts – now University of Massachusetts). He completed a Software Engineering at the University of Washington extension, Seattle WA. In 2011, he completed an Executive Masters in Information Management at National Defense University's Information Resource Management College and Syracuse University. He is in the midst of NDU's Cyber Leadership Master's program.
