Dr. Gerhard Steinke CISSP

Gerhard Steinke, Ph.D. is Professor of Management and Information Systems in the School of Business, Government and Economics at Seattle Pacific University. He completed his doctoral work at the University of Passau in Germany. He teaches courses in various areas of Information Systems Management including Information Security, Healthcare Informatics, and Privacy, Legal and Ethical topics. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Information Privacy & Security, Journal of International Technology and Information Management, Science and Engineering Ethics and the Hong Kong Computer Journal. In addition, he has provided security consulting for organizations such as Boeing, Microsoft, AT&T Wireless, and the State of Washington. He provides security related seminars, workshops and courses for organizations in Mexico, Malaysia, and Romania.
