Ms. Lauren Van Wazer CISSP

Lauren Van Wazer, CISSP, is Vice President, Global Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs, for Akamai Technologies, a $3.6B cloud computing and cybersecurity services company. She is a frequent speaker on Women in STEM issues, starting from her time serving as Assistant Director for Cybersecurity in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy more than a decade ago.

She also serves on the board of Ossia, Inc., where she is Chair of the Regulatory Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. She's on the Board of the Akamai Foundation and is a member of the Board of Visitors of Georgetown University Law Center. She is a past Chair of the Board of the Information Technology Industry Council, the largest global technology trade association.
