Oct 12, 2022 11:25am ‐ Oct 12, 2022 12:25pm

Description

Talent attraction and retention within the industry are known issues when determining the efficacy and durability of a security risk organization. Neurodiverse recruitment, training, career development and retention is a key pillar of recognizing and fully unlocking the talent, skills, and passions of the security workforce. In this session, attendees will be presented with a brief history of neurodiversity in the workplace, hiring trends, and best practices on how to manage, develop and listen to the ND voices within their organizations. Additionally, tactics on how to upskill and integrate non-traditional candidates into a corporate security environment will be presented.

Learning Objectives:
  • Refer to a working understanding of what neurodiversity in the workplace means, with as few buzzwords as possible.
  • Program and enact policies and learning tasks for team members looking for that next step in their career, or who are struggling to find their place in an organization.
  • Access a toolkit of questions and prompts to enable team members to envision and enact substantial professional or personal development within the security profession.
