Parents, this session includes the kiddos! You and your children (ages 6-11) will learn from Garfield in this interactive and dynamic lesson Online Friends Are Not the Same As Real Friends. Featuring our new Garfield for Virtual Classroom program, this online instructor-led session will engage children in an internet safety conversation, watch a Garfield Cartoon video, and complete a fun group activity. Privacy, Online Friends Are Not the Same As Real Friends: Nermal is determined to beat Cheesequest 7: Attack of the Cheddar Zombies no matter what. But when an online friend offers to help Nermal win in exchange for his user info and password, Arlene and Garfield decide to call in Dr. Cybrina, online security expert. Join Garfield and friends as they learn about who to trust and what to share online.

ABOUT OUR VOLUNTEER:
Mrs. Lakeisha Edwards has a B.S. in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University and a M.S. in Information Systems & Technology from John Hopkins University. Mrs. Edwards is a Certified Information Systems Security Engineer Professional (CISSP) and currently works as a Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) for Leidos supporting a signals analysis platform development program.
