Ms. Tran Cheung MBA, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GSNA, PMP

Tran Cheung is the Director of IT Risk, Compliance, and Governance at NJIT, overseeing initiatives to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and institutional policies. Previously, she served as IT Audit Manager in the Office of Audit and Compliance at Princeton University, providing information security and IT operations assurance. Before that, she spent over 18 years at Mathematica, where her last role as Principal of Information Security involved directing risk and compliance team supporting state and federal clients and conducting independent security audits for a major government system. A dedicated board member for the ISC2 New Jersey Chapter, she currently leads its communications and newsletter committees. Tran holds certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GNSA, and PMP, and earned her degrees from Rutgers University, Rutgers Business School.
