Ms. Tran Cheung CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GSNA, PMP

Tran Cheung is the Director of IT Risk, Compliance, and Governance at New Jersey Institute of Technology, overseeing IT initiatives to support compliance with laws, regulations, and institutional policies. Previously, she served as IT Audit Manager in the Office of Audit and Compliance at Princeton University, where she provided assurance over information security and IT operations. Prior to Princeton, she spent more than 18 years at Mathematica, most recently serving as Principal of Information Security, leading risk and compliance teams supporting state and federal clients and conducting independent security audits for a major government system.

A dedicated board member of the ISC2 New Jersey Chapter, Tran currently leads the chapter’s communications and newsletter committees. Her professional certifications include CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GNSA, CMMC CCP, and PMP. She earned both her BS and MBA degrees from Rutgers Business School.
