Tim Clinton CISSP

Tim brings a 25-year career as an IT / Cybersecurity practitioner and business line leader serving both private and public sector clients. Tim's experience includes security leadership positions for multiple organizations focusing on Risk Management, Security Program Management, Security Architecture, Telecommunications, and Cybersecurity Operations. Tim has served as a Director for a Washington DC based software / SaaS hosting company and for a billion-dollar pharmaceutical company. In both instances, these roles represented the most senior security resource within the company. Tim has actively managed security operations teams up to 30 individuals as well as implementing and auditing infrastructure and systems in accordance with NIST 800-53, CFATS, and FedRAMP frameworks. Currently, Tim is a Sr. Solutions Architect and Business Lead with XOR Security in Falls Church, Va. 

Tim has an M.B.A. specializing in IT management from American University in Washington, DC. This formal education has been augmented with several recognized industry security and technical certifications, specifically, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and ITILv3 Certifications during his career.
