Sujit Christy is a distinguished professional in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) with a deep commitment to reinforcing cybersecurity measures and promoting the profession. He holds significant roles including Chief Information Security Officer, Cybersecurity Adviser and a Consultant in the top 10 accounting firms. His influence extends through diverse industry verticals offering guidance to enhance cyber defenses, risk reduction, and compliance strategies.

Beyond his corporate roles, Sujit serves as the Secretary of the ISC2 Colombo Chapter, an Advisory Board Member at Cybersecurity Center of Excellence - SLASSCOM, a member of the Cyber Security and Privacy Thematic Group appointed by the Ministry of Technology to design the National Digital Strategy 2030 for the whole government of Sri Lanka, a Member of the Oversight Committee appointed by the Ministry of Technology to monitor the Implementation of Information and Cybersecurity Policy for Sri Lankan Government Organizations and President of Circulo de CISO.

His pioneering role is evident as a founding member, charter secretary, and past president of the ISC2 Chennai & Colombo Chapters. He supervised the ISC2 Credential exams in India & Sri Lanka, exemplifying his commitment to nurturing the cybersecurity community. He has also contributed to the Center for Cyber Safety and Education (formerly ISC2 Foundation), pioneered digital safety in India and Sri Lanka.

His substantial contributions have garnered recognition, including the prestigious 2013 ISC2 President's Award, making him the first recipient from the SAARC Region. Additionally, he earned the ISC2 Honoree distinction in the Information Security Practitioner Category for Information Security Leadership Achievements (ISLA) in the Asia Pacific Region.
