Scott Beale, CC, leads ISC2 as Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 30 years of experience in global leadership, workforce development, and mission-driven organizations. He is passionate about building innovative programs that strengthen talent pipelines and create opportunities for professionals worldwide.

Before joining ISC2, Scott served as Associate Director of the U.S. Peace Corps, where he oversaw the global operations of a $300 million agency with 2,500 staff operating across 64 countries. Previously, Beale founded Atlas Corps to create the largest leadership development program for nonprofit professionals in the world. Under his leadership, Atlas Corps pioneered a certification-style model that combined immersive fellowship experiences with rigorous training. Beale's earlier career includes significant global work as a diplomat and in the White House.

Scott has been recognized twice as one of the Top 50 Nonprofit CEOs in the United States by The Nonprofit Times for his visionary leadership and impact. His expertise spans organizational strategy, global partnerships, and workforce innovation.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Government with a minor in Economics from Georgetown University and holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from the University of Delaware. Scott is committed to fostering collaboration and driving initiatives that empower professionals to meet the evolving challenges of cybersecurity worldwide.
