Sarah Michaels

Sarah is Head of Group Threat Intelligence, bringing together top talent from Nationwide and Virgin Money to create an industry-leading capability for the UK's second-largest retail bank. She was previously Director of Threat Intelligence at Barclays. Sarah began her career in the US and NATO intelligence communities in 2002. After leaving Government, she worked at Oxford Analytica, the geopolitical advisory practice. Sarah is a passionate advocate for human factors in cybersecurity. She is a keen runner and a welfare officer for her local community football club.
