Samara Moore has over 25 years leading security, risk, and compliance across government and industry (energy, cloud services). At DOE and the National Security Council, she helped develop the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the Electricity Subsector Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model. She currently focuses on GRC, AI governance, and critical infrastructure resilience. Samara has degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech, Masters in Engineering Management from George Washington University, and is a cybersecurity professor at North Carolina Central University.
