Ms. M. Dee Childs MPA and M. Jurisprudence

Having served as CIO and deputy CIO at three major research universities, Dee Childs brings a wealth of experience in operations, risk management, and cybersecurity. Dee is a seasoned public speaker, presenting at multiple National Science Foundation, Internet2, EDUCAUSE, SIM, and other conferences. She has served on multiple advisory boards including State of Texas Strategic Plan, TX-LEARN, Internet2, Dell and Cisco Customer Advisory Boards. Dee holds an MPA from Indiana University, where she also served as adjunct professor, and a M. Jurisprudence in Cybersecurity Law from Texas A&M School of Law. Dee has held the CISSP certification since 2006, and more recently the CMMC Certified Professional cert. A lifelong educator and mentor, Dee actively engages with young professionals to facilitate career and personal goals.
