John Iliadis CISSP

John is an accomplished professional with more than 20 years of experience in enabling cyber-resilient services for thousands of users, spearheading digital infrastructure operations and delivering complex changes. His proven professional track record has been diverse; conducting basic and applied research on Information Security, developing software, performing system, network and security administration of financial IT infrastructures, designing security architectures and conducting information risk management. During the last 10 years he has lead teams that run IT & CyberSecurity Operations, design and implement CyberSecurity controls and perform paradigm shifts of IT infrastructures. He is currently leading the IT Infrastructure Business Unit at TEIRESIAS S.A., which encompasses the functions of CyberSecurity, IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure & Operations. He is also currently serving as President of (ISC)2 Hellenic Chapter, leading a community of engaged cybersecurity professionals towards promoting the profession, increasing security awareness and delivering thought leadership in the region. His published research work includes more than 20 international journal papers, conference papers and book chapters. He holds two postgraduate degrees in Information Security (a PhD and an MSc), an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering as well as academic diplomas and certificates in Management, Negotiation and Business Administration. He is a Chartered Manager and maintains several certifications, among which the CISSP.
