James Bruhl, currently the director of cyber threat intelligence at DefenseStorm, brings 15 years of law enforcement experience, with a strong background in crime prevention, evidence collection and crisis management. Transitioning into cybersecurity, he developed expertise in digital forensics, incident response and threat analysis. Starting as a security engineer in 2020, James played a crucial role in developing DefenseStorm's EDR service and was promoted to director in 2022. He oversees the EDR service, focusing on detecting cyber threats, coordinating incident response and enhancing security strategies. James contributes to the cybersecurity community through training, conferences and articles. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of North Georgia and a GCFE certification.
