Heather Lowrie is Lead Security Architect at the National Records of Scotland, working as part of the team responsible for securing Scotland's national archival, statistical and civil registration information. She is professionally qualified to design, engineer, implement and manage enterprise information security and privacy programmes (CISSP, CISM, CDPSE). She is also a Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer.
Prior to joining the Scottish Government in her current role in early 2020, she held various technical and technical leadership roles in the financial services industry. She is a graduate of the Universities of Dundee (LL.B. Hons) and Edinburgh (MSc, MSc by Research) in Scotland.
