Dimitris Georgiou CISSP is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with 25 years of experience in IT and information security. Currently, he serves as Chief Security Officer at Alphabit, a leading cybersecurity firm based in Athens, Greece. 

Beyond his technical expertise, Dimitris brings a diverse background in humanities and computer science. He holds certifications in information security, digital forensics, and payment security. His commitment to the field is further demonstrated by his memberships in BCS, IEEE, ACM, and ISC2. He actively contributes to the cybersecurity community, serving on the ISC2 Europe Advisory Council and as a second-term Treasurer for the ISC2 Hellenic Chapter.
