Mr. Dan Meacham CISSP

Dan Meacham is a respected cybersecurity expert with over 25 years of experience in the field. He is currently the Vice President of Global Security and Corporate Operations for Legendary Entertainment, a movie and television studio best know for Dune, Interstellar, Dark Knight, Godzilla and Detective Pikachu. Dan has held senior security positions at a variety of companies, including law firms, healthcare organizations, and accounting firms. He is also a frequent speaker and writer on cybersecurity topics. Dan is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) and holds 12 other technical certifications. He has been trained by members of the U.S. Secret Service and the National Security Agency. Dan is also a board member and advisor to the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), the Los Angeles ISSA chapter, and CyberRisk Alliance, and he co-chairs the Evanta CISO Summit. In 2021, Dan was named SC Media's CSO of the Year. He has also been recognized as the ISE West Security Executive of the Year, a CSO50 award winner, and the Cyber Security Leader of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
