Mr. Claudio R. Benavente

Claudio Benavente is the Principal Security Advisor at Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a degree in electrical engineering. He is responsible for support security strategies, supporting clients' business processes and acting as an advisor in the cybersecurity market. Claudio has more than 20 years of experience in IT and information security, having worked in the financial market at large banks and at large telecommunications companies, such as AT&T and Telefónica, and as Associate Partner at IBM Security Brazil. Claudio joined AWS in November 2022 as Cybersecurity Executive. Claudio was recognized as one of the top cybersecurity leaders in the industry when he earned the Security Leaders Award in 2021 and is a member of the CyberEdBoard Community and a member of the VigiTrust Global Advisory Board.
