Chris Bullock is a successful and accomplished Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), executive leader, and a cybersecurity/cybercrime entrepreneur. Chris holds an AAS from Clayton State University in Electronic Technology, a bachelor's degree (cum laude) from Reinhardt University and a Master's of Science Degree in Cybercrime from the University of South Florida (USF).
Chris is a leader and program builder, and has built and managed successful cybersecurity programs at Fortune 500 organizations across many business verticals and governments, and trained and mentored many cybersecurity professionals who went on to successful cybersecurity careers. Chris started his cybersecurity career as creator and executive leader of the cyber and physical security program of an Atlanta-based early Fintech company called Magnet Communications, later acquired by Intuit. Chris managed the logical and physical security for many banking institution’s most sensitive systems. Chris has created and led complex digital forensic programs, security operation centers and digital forensic laboratories, and conducted sensitive criminal and civil digital forensic investigations both in the private and public sectors. Chris is a seasoned penetration tester, digital forensics specialist and cyber risk assessor.
Chris publicly speaks and writes to contribute to and further the profession of cybersecurity and cyber criminology. Chris was voted "85th Top Ranking CISO in the U.S." in 2012. Chris has provided advisory services for CISOs and CSOs globally and created a revolutionary concept coining the terms Cyber Executive Protection™ and CyberVIP Protection™. Chris and his firm worked with UHNWI, VIPs, celebrities, and their families who are at elevated risk of physical and cyber-based attacks to protect them in cyberspace. Chris is a member of the National White-Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and is certified through NW3C holding both the 3CE, 3CIA, and 3CI certifications. Chris holds the certifications of CISSP, CCE, CCFT, GWAPT and GaCSI Instructor, and is a Certified Executive Protection Agent.
Chris has over three decades of decorated law enforcement experience including as an electronic surveillance specialist and serving as a SWAT Operator with a Special Operations Group. Much of Chris's law enforcement career was dedicated to protecting children via his work as an affiliate member of the GBI ICAC Task Force.
