Casey serves as the lead executive helping ISC2 deliver world class qualifications to the information security profession. This includes the development of psychometrically sound and legally defensible certifications and information security professional standards that advance the mission and vision of ISC2. With almost 30 years of experience in large-scale assessment, he has published and presented extensively and is recognized as an expert on issues related to adoption and vendor transition of Computer Based Testing for high-stakes, international standards development, international program expansion, adaptive testing and examination security. Dr. Marks has a long history of involvement and volunteer service with testing related organizations such as American Education Research Association (AERA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Council on Licensure, Education, and Regulation (CLEAR), Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), International Test Commission (ITC), and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME). Dr. Marks served as an invited expert for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Working Group for the Revision of ISO/IEC 17024 and is a Past President of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP). Dr. Marks holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois, a PhD in Measurement, Evaluation and Statistical Analysis from the University of Chicago and is a Certified Association Executive.
