Andrea Hoy CISSP, CISM, MBA, is a Senior Security Advisor in Troutman Pepper's Privacy + Cyber practice group. Andrea's leadership positions include leadership roles for McDonnell Douglas, Rockwell, and Boeing NA. Her clients are from a diverse mix of industries that include Litton, Pacific Life, Genentech, Molina Healthcare, Activision, WAMU (now Chase), T-Mobile, Hamni, Uniti and East West Banks. She has served as CISO at several companies across many industries, including Activision, PhaseOne, Uniti Bank, East West Bank, Tysak Technologies, and SenSe1 Security, Inc. Among her other accomplishments, Andrea initiated the cybersecurity program as Chief InfoSecurity and Data Privacy Director for Fluor, a Fortune 20 company. She has served and been recognized as an advisor to the Pentagon and represented the US as diplomat to China on eDiscovery and forensics. Andrea is the founder and president of A.Hoy & Associates, a “virtual CISO" provider, and co-founder of the Innovation Shipyard Alliance. She is the former President of ISSA, from which she was selected as an ISSA Distinguished Fellow in the cybersecurity profession. She earned her undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach, and her MBA at Pepperdine University.
