ALEX MORTIMER BSC (HONS) CertHE PGDip MSc MBA FCMI CMgr CSCM Alex is an experienced business leader who has worked in senior director positions in the university, commercial and the not-for-profit sectors. He has experience in supply chain and cybersecurity consultancy services, executive education, university qualifications and professional certifications. He has developed teams at Airbus, AstraZeneca, BAE Systems, Bentley, Duracell, Pepsico and many more global organisations. Alex has also built a reputation in the supply chain industry as a thought leader. He is listed in the top 25 of Supply Chain Influencers on Social Media by SAP Centric conference USA and in the top 50 of global business supply chain thought leaders and influencers by thinkers360.com and Scurri. He was one of the leaders who created the Supply chain degree apprenticeship standards in the UK for which all UK universities must adhere to these standards for creating their supply chain degree. He is now supporting the development of cybersecurity standards in the UK. Alex heads up the global academic partnerships at ISC2. He oversees the strategy and works with the teams internally to develop approaches in supporting the academic partner community. He is also involved in supporting ISC2's advocacy work - speaking at events and supporting academic partners. He is also a visiting senior lecturer / adjunct professor at Anglia Ruskin University (UK), University of Bedfordshire (UK) and California State University - Fresno (USA). He has also given business talks at Royal Holloway - University of London (UK), University of West London (UK), University of East London (UK), Manchester Met University (UK) , West Virginia University (USA), University of Nottingham (UK) and many more.
