Aleksejs Okolovskis
President, ISC2 Switzerland Chapter
Aleksejs Okolovskis is a senior cybersecurity professional with deep roots and holding a Master of Science in computer science,
He serves as President of the ISC2 Chapter Switzerland, which he rebuilt and regrew following the disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, restoring it as an active and thriving professional community. Beyond his chapter leadership, he is a member of the ISC2 Chapter Regional Management Committee (CRMC), contributing to the strengthening of ISC2 chapters across the region.
He has made significant contributions to cybersecurity policy in Switzerland, including shaping the IKT-Minimalstandard and contributing to the development of the national cyber security strategy. He has published articles on cybersecurity with a particular focus on critical infrastructure.
In his professional capacity, he works in public administration as an Information Security Officer and with the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) in Tallinn, contributing to international cyber defence efforts.
