Akash Verma is a seasoned Security Engineering Leader with a demonstrated history of driving innovation in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance. He currently leads various Continuous Assurance Engineering (CAE) programs for CISO at Google.

Akash's leadership extends beyond Google, collaborating with industry experts to advance cybersecurity practices in alignment with CSA and NIST frameworks.

Prior to his current role, Akash held key leadership positions at LinkedIn as a Staff Manager and at Discover as a Principal Engineer. His deep understanding of security engineering principles is grounded in his extensive experience and complemented by his academic credentials, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication and an MS in Information Systems and Operations Management.
